Common fault phenomena and judgment methods of optical fiber sensors
1. There is no display on the digital display after connecting to the power supply
(1) Check whether the power cord is disconnected and whether the plug is in good contact.
(2) Whether the power fuse of the digital display meter is blown.
(3) Whether the power supply voltage meets the requirements.
2. The digital display does not count
(1) Change the sensor plug to another digital display meter. If the sensor can work normally, it means that there is a problem with the original digital display meter.
(2) Check whether the sensor cable is disconnected or damaged.
3. Intermittent count of digital display
(1) Check whether the grating scale is installed correctly, whether all the fixing screws of the grating scale are loose, and whether the grating scale is polluted.
(2) Whether the plug and socket are in good contact.
(3) Whether the grating scale is scratched or rubbed with other parts when moving.
(4) Check whether the precision of the machine tool guide motion pair is too low, causing the working gap of the grating to change.
4. The digital display shows the alarm
(1) The grating sensor is not connected.

5. After the grating sensor moves, only the last display flashes
(1) A or B phase has no signal or only one phase signal is abnormal.
(2) One signal line is blocked.
(3) The phototransistor is damaged.
6. The moving grating sensor only counts in one direction, but does not count in the other direction (that is, counts in one direction)
(1) The signal output of grating sensor A and B is short-circuited.
(2) The phase shift of the A and B signals of the grating sensor is incorrect.
(3) The digital display is faulty.
7. The reading head squeaks or moves difficult
(1) There is a crack in the sealing strip.
(2) The indicator grating falls off, and the scale grating is severely contacted and rubbed.
(3) The balls of the lower body fall off.
(4) The upper sliding body is seriously deformed.
8. After the new grating sensor is installed, its display value is inaccurate
(1) The installation base surface does not meet the requirements.
(2) The grating ruler body and reading head are not installed as required.
(3) Severe collision changes the position of the grating pair.
